RON ENGLISH

RON ENGLISH is an American Artist. His work is some of the most recognizable pop art in the world. He coined the term POPaganda to describe his signature style of mashing-up big brands. ENGLISH took the Marlboro logo, and creatively replicated it to say "Breath". Or the cover art for the movie "Supersize Me" in which he created an overweight Ronald McDonald named

MC Supersized. RON ENGLISH is an expert painter with oil, acrylic, spray paint and just about any paint he can get his hands on. He is a photographer and a sculptor. He is a world-renowned artist who has painted and exhibited across the globe.

This mural was painted in 2019. This was the fourth time ENGLISH has painted this wall. Here he highlights some of his more popular characters. Notice the detail he uses in the shadowing. The detail that he uses to give the characters depth on a flat wall. It looks like all of the characters are standing on a green shelf.

From a certain angle it looks as though the mucle-bound McDonalds is standing in the rock in the foreground.

The "Temper-Tot" is taking a selfie. It is always a pleasure to watch this master work.

This mural was painted December 2019 for the Wynwood Walls
