This massive mural was done over the course of two weeks by CARATOES herself, no team! Done for Superchief Gallery and Mana Contemporary during Art Basel 2019. The mural was done primarily with a mix of aerosol paint and brush and roller.
Notice the graffiti that's started to accumulate under the mural. That tends to happen to large murals after the mural has been running for a while. It's usually graffiti writers who do the damage. Being one of the largest walls in Wynwood, artists are literally and figuratively fighting over wall space.
